Probably H&K USP compact 9mm. Although any CZ would do just great as well!

Re: Which DA/SA gun would you carry?
The H&K USP Compact in 9mm has been suggested several times already and is a great gun. That said I would suggest the ergonomics of the P2000 are superior to the USP line. I had carried the P30sk for a while, and while I enjoy those ergos even more, the short grip puts the magazine in a position that when releasing a mag it would often get hung up on the fatty part of my palm, necessitating a positive pull to clear the mag. Didn't matter if it was the flush fit, pinky, or later 13 & 15 round extended mags. As a result I ended up parting ways with my P30sk and replaced it with the P2000. Slightly longer grip and 13-round mags. Easily conceals and has the same great trigger of the USP in a slightly less 2x4-ish feeling package.
All that said once cooler weather rolls around I've been known to OC my full size P30 from time to time.

I’ve always been intrigued by the p2000. Had a P30sk that I liked but didn’t love. I may just have to give the p2000 a spin one of these days. I like to appendix carry my “larger” guns and love the dasa manual of arms.SigM4 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 9:30 am The H&K USP Compact in 9mm has been suggested several times already and is a great gun. My most often carried traditional double action is a Beretta MiniCougar. Mine started out as DAO, but I added the sear parts, then an extended magazine release & a new set if Spartan night sights. It holds 8+1rounds of .40S&W or 357Sig, depending on which barrel I have in it. Or I can use the 10round mag shown in this picture. I carry a 13rd modified MecGar Beretta 96 mag as backup.

My 2nd favorite carry gun is a Beretta 96G Centurion.

I used to carry HK P30 (SA/DA)
Then moved to Beretta PX4 Storm Sub Compact, 9mm (SA/DA)
Now, I am carrying Beretta Nano, 9mm. Striker fired, horrible DA long and heavy trigger, no external safety, no slide catch. I did the trigger job and added front fiber optic sight

Re: Which DA/SA gun would you carry?
Depends on the day, open carry a Beretta PX4 Storm tactical full out of Langdon Tactical, concealed S&W 3914, trigger done by Karl Sokol Chestnut Mountain sports. Both da/sa. I haven't carried a sa only in years but probably a 1911.
Only thing I changed on the Storm is the sights, went with trijicon hds . Sending S&W back for xs standard front rear u notch from a 4516 to match the hight of the xs and having the slide refinished with Karl's mountain tuff.

If I had purchased my old USP Compact in 9mm or .45 ACP, instead of .40 S&W—which as it turns out that I really don’t like—I’d still own it today. It was a pretty great carry gun.

Carried a P2000sk LEM for 5 years.

Re: Which DA/SA gun would you carry?
Ruger P85 for many years till arthritis and age made it hard on my hands. I now carry a Taurus TH9c . After years of working at a lime kiln my hands took a beating. I feel more comfortable with Sa/Da with decocker. I know most people dislike Taurus, but I have 6 different Taurus weapons some over 20 years old that are still working perfectly.

I'm going to have to second the CZ line.
Carrying at CZ 97BD (.45 ACP) in a Crossbreed SuperTuck.
This CZ is large, but the SuperTuck makes the carry very comfortable.
