And this is why I have a camera on my front porch. I can PTZ to see if someone is there, and I can even use the camera to talk to the person. Until I identify the person on the other side of the door, I do not open the door.

This. If I'm not expecting you and don't know you, at any time of the day or night we'll be conversing through the camera and I won't be near the door. I'll also be looking at the other four cameras to see if there's anything odd going on elsewhere around the house...like three guys hanging back where they think they won't be seen.

But to the OP: yeah; I agree. All lives matter. And they all matter equally. But saying that in today's climate gets you loudly branded as a racist, if not outright threatened or assaulted. I can't help but think if you could have had a frank talk with MLK Jr. and showed him that your soul-deep desire was for all men to be treated equally because all men were created equal, that you might have gotten an amen and a handshake. But BLM/antifa have distorted and insulted the work of the civil rights pioneers upon whose shoulders they should standing. Instead they have corrupted the message and have they, themselves, become the blatant, bigoted, and belligerent racists.

Our door never opens unless we invited you and know you are coming. We talk through the cameras. I don’t answer for UPS or Fedex unless they tell me through the camera there is a required signature and I am expecting the package. Gun goes to the door just like the house shoes.

Noticed he was sporting Grunt Style Shirt in one pic, good chance he was a veteran and/or 2A supporter. Just a side observation.

And the cop that shot him was not justified in my opinion, guy was going down and lowering his gun when he shot him. Nervous nelly cop.

Two students arrested for attempting to write "all preborn black lives matter" in Chalk on the sidewalk in front of an abortion clinic in Washington DC.

Apparently only speech you like is protected by the 1st amendment in our nations capital. I suspect this is also the case in most parts of the US.
