Trump on Facebook today: “I am happy to inform all of the people living their Suburban Lifestyle Dream that you will no longer be bothered or financially hurt by having low income housing built in your neighborhood. Your housing prices will go up based on the market, and crime will go down. I have rescinded the Obama-Biden AFFH Rule. Enjoy!”

Trump suggests in a tweet that the election should be delayed to give people a safe way to vote.
Probably not the wisest thing for Trump to tweet. I wish he would check with me before tweeting things like this.

I love his way of poking a stick at leftists. I believe he knows that isn't going to happen. He is just stirring the pot and I LOVE it!philip964 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2020 9:09 am https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... ulent.html

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President
Had never heard this before.
“Before he was president, Trump bought an estate in West Palm Beach, Florida. He put up a 50 foot flag pole and flew a US flag on it. The City Council told him that he could only have a 30 foot pole but he refused to take it down. They told him they would fine him $1000 a day until he took it down. He said fine, that's chump change. When the fine reached $120,000 he went to the city council and made a deal. He would lower the flag to a 30 foot pole if he could donate the $120,000 to the Veterans Affairs, to which they agreed. He took 50 foot pole down and had a landscape company come in and build a 20 foot hill where the pole was and put up a 30 foot pole. Lol... That's why we love the guy. Trump 2020.”

Unless a former president was charged and tried for such behavior, there is no incentive for a future president, not to do the same type of thing.philip964 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 02, 2020 2:35 pm https://news.yahoo.com/disclosures-conf ... 21225.html

Trump puts hammer down on TVA firing two board members and telling them to fire CEO who makes $8 million a year and who replaces American workers with foreign H1B visa workers and then makes the Americans train them.
Signs executive order saying government cannot replace American citizens with foreign workers.
The swamp is very deep.

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President
I have a buddy who is a university professor and large number of their new faculty are working on H1B visas. He says the administration likes them because most will not question any of the poor leadership decisions that get made. I don't mention this to stereotype the workers, who are here doing legitimate work (and some of them very well), but to point out leadership that is entrenched, detached from their student body and the rest of the real world, and is willing to punish anyone who might bring real world consequences to them.
