Hmmm, ok then.
I've got a colletion of them. They're comfy and they hide things well. Sucks being practical

Whatever!
I moved away from those years ago towards plaids or solids since most people don’t pay that much attention anyway.

I’m wearing mine, got some really nice ones!
Does this make Hawaii a far right state?
Lots of Hawaiian shirts worn over there!

Yeah, but wouldn’t any shirt sold there be an Hawaiian shirt?

They are on to us now.... time to change.

Considering that “far right” means anyone standing two steps starboard of Stalin or Mao...

Way back when I was in SAPD's academy, I was told that if I saw anyone wearing a guayabera (Mexican style shirt designed not to be tucked in), either he was a Mexican or he was carrying a gun. And if he was a Mexican, it was still 50-50 that he was concealing a gun with it.
They were very popular with off-duty officers in San Antonio back then.

Re: Hawaiian Shirt - the new "hoodie" for the far right.
I hate IWB, so I love my Hawaiian shirts this time of year. For the record, to be a real Hawaiian (or Aloha) shirt:
- it must be made in Hawaii
- the pocket pattern must exactly match the shirt pattern it is sewn over
- the buttons must be a natural material, such as bone or wood
At least that's what my daughter told me when she was stationed there, and provided me with several nice shirts.

Darnit! I prefer guayaberas to Aloha shirts...not really big on colors and complex prints.srothstein wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 7:57 pm Way back when I was in SAPD's academy, I was told that if I saw anyone wearing a guayabera (Mexican style shirt designed not to be tucked in), either he was a Mexican or he was carrying a gun. Wait! I know! I'll start wearing a dozen-pocket fishing/IDPA vest in plain khaki! No one will ever suspect I might be carrying...
