The quote under the headline, before the article, is the most positive statement I've seen in a news story in way too long.“Luckily and fortunately for the convenience store clerk, he had a gun with him," Houston Police Sgt. J. Horn said.
As the saying goes, "You can't count on luck, but luck counts." It is not uncommon for bad guys to miss. It is also not uncommon for good guys to miss. In this case, the bad guy missed once and the good guy hit "multiple times." I call that a win. Having won the physical fight, I hope the good guy is up for the coming legal battle.
