Let's hope for a high turnout again this Saturday at Rudy's BBQ in Frisco.

I will share my trip to Houston, where I attended the Pearland/Houston breakfast with Htown forum friends on 1/3/20.

It's supposed to be cold, and wet. But even with that, I plan to make the drive in my pickup. Might take me a bit longer than usual though.

Well, I had every intention of coming up for my first visit to the N/NE group today but a late day at work yesterday and then waking up to the sound of rain on the roof and a nice warm bed kept me from getting up in time. Hopefully next time. Hope everyone had a good morning.

This morning, 1/11/20, we had a good turnout for the Frisco breakfast.

In attendance were: bitterclinger, blackhorse1, Mrs. blackhorse1, C-dub, flightmare, SIA, and strogg. Lots of visiting was done, as we met from 800 AM - 1230 PM.

Jusme said howdy via text message. Next week is Arlington, Rudy's BBQ, 800 AM.

SigM4: Thanks for trying to visit with us. You know what they say, though: the road to heck is paved with good intentions. JK. :-)

Just a reminder to all, breakfast this month is on 2/8. I plan to be there followed by a trip to Fort Worth for Sheriff Waybourn's 2nd Ammendment Celebration

I hope to see y'all out there this weekend.

This Saturday, 2/8/20, I will not be attending the Frisco breakfast. I will be attending a church security conference in Olney, Texas (way west of Fort Worth) from 830 AM - 100 PM.

Then I will hotfoot it over to Fort Worth to attend Tarrant County Sheriff Waybourn's (sp?) event. That starts at 200 PM, so depending on my travel time from Olney, I may miss a little of the opening of this 2-6 PM event. See you there!

I'm planning on being there and if Mrs. Dub is awake, she may also come.

And the new parents, H-Dub and Daddy might also be there sans babies.

BTW, this past 10 days has been a whirlwind of activity. At some point I will start a thread with more details about my first two grandchildren. There's just been a lot of stuff going on at home, work, and with stuff in general. More than usual! I haven't even been able to get out to stand/ride with my Patriot Guard Riders in almost a month.

Don't be afraid Andy. We've never bitten you before and I really don't see it ever happening. Now that you're a full fledged 'merican, we don't even worry about your pronunciation of aluminium any longer. :biggrinjester:
