Former Brady Campaign President Stands up for Gun Owners

Watch: Former Brady Campaign President Stands up for Gun Owners
He said, “I’m here because I’ve seen how all of you, decent, responsible, law-abiding gun owners, are relentlessly, and, I believe, unfairly, demonized.”

Gross added, “I’ve seen firsthand how an ideological hatred of guns and the people who own them is more important to some people than the actual goal of saving lives.”

Gross also discussed what he thinks “gun owners can do to reclaim the narrative in this country.” He spoke of gun owners as “decent” people who lament tragedy just as non-gun owners do and suggested much of the gun debate can be settled via gun owners promoting firearm responsibility as passionately as they promote the right to own a firearm.

Please, Mr. Gross cite examples when passionate 2A advocates are less passionate about firearm responsibility.
What are your suggested firearm responsibility promotions we should embrace?
Or are you just using a different anti-gun angle?

I wouldn't be too quick to criticize.
The guy is suggesting a smart way to change the narrative.
If it's a good idea, it doesn't matter the source.

Or... Maybe the source adds weight to the idea.

Caveat emptor, of course.

His premise is correct, however, as we all know, gun owners, as a whole, don’t get the chance to passionately get the word out. We have forums, like this, some YouTube presence, etc. But MSM, are not going to allow us to make any points, we are drowned out, by the overexposure, of misinformed, agenda driven, gun grabbers. The left has further, muzzled us, with red flag laws, which paints a target on anyone who objects to the mass disarming, of law abiding citizens. So many gun owners, suffer in silence, and have only the recourse, of the ballot box, which is becoming more and more unreliable.

You're right..and this guy ran one of the misinformed, agenda driven gun grabber organizations that has put us in that position. As such, he has a lot to prove before he can be trusted to roam among the sheep.
