Just checking in on everyone in DFW.... Storm took out our brand new fence (installed 1 month ago), patio cover and tree and branches down... Were in the West Plano / Frisco area.

Glad you’re otherwise OK. I slept right through it (we’d been to the Alliance air show earlier, and I was bushed), but it woke my wife up and she got up and started washing the storm tracking on TV. I had no idea until she told me this morning. She showed me a photo of a funnel cloud somebody took in the north Dallas area last night. We're in NRH, and while we had a nice little thunderstorm before I went to bed, there wasn’t anything like a severe storm yet.

I pulled off the highway in Alvarado last night, on my way back from Austin. Watched the storm pass a few miles in front of me.
It was quite a light show, nearly all the way from Waco.

Hope you are all safe and relatively unscathed.
Took me an hour to get the leaves out of the pool this morning. First-world problem. Not complaining.

Checking in from east Plano, all good here. I pinged a couple other users as well and all seems to be well.

Got a text from kayt00 yesterday asking for a weather update. He knew I was on my radio listening to the storm spotters and waiting to see if I had anything to report.

Glad you're OK. Had high winds and heavy rains here in West Fort Worth, but no damage around us. Heard this morning on news that storm weakened over Tarrant County and then picked up strength when it hit Dallas County and produced the Tornadoes.

Southwest Garland here. I don't what it actually was (tornado, microburst, straight line winds) but the area took some damage. My immediate couple of blocks is perfectly fine, power restored about 90 minutes ago, and no damage. Go about 3 blocks South or East and damage to houses, trees down, etc. Garland PD and FD were out last. PD blocking off the neighborhood, and FD rolling through checking on people. They were answering what questions they could. Last I notice the city put out I saw said zero deaths for Garland.

12:45, I hear the wind and rain start.. Stay in bed
12:55 I hear the front door open and my boys seeing what's going on.... stay in bed
1:00 I hear my wife go :Oh My God". I get up.... Didn't get back to sleep until around 3am..

We just came in from cutting up and stacking wood from 1 full maple tree and a few limbs... Called insurance first thing this morning.. Appraiser called and will be out in the morning and fence and remodeling crew will be out tomorrow to give me an estimate to replace / repair the fence and my back patio roof... May have some shingles loose as well...
