I am still holding out with some hope that this would be pretty far out there. But then again, up until a couple years ago I never would have thought the FBI would be used to spy on an opposition candidate either.

We need to institute "Blue Flag" Laws. 95% of violent crimes are committed by deranged left wing Democrats. Take their guns away and we solve most of the problem.

Even if they repealed the 2A we would still have the RKBA, but then it would be time to use them.

They don't mean repeal through the Constitutional amendment process. They mean judicial repeal, which only requires 5 votes by unelected judges. Significant portions of the Constitution have already been "repealed" this way. You see, the Constitution doesn't mean what is says in the plain language of the time it was written. It actually means what unelected judges believe it should mean based on current circumstances and beneficial outcomes for the public.

I've made that exact point in several discussions. Justice Stevens was clear on his stance that the 2nd Amendment be repealed but I don't think that even he was advocating for the use of the Constitutional process to do it. Why go to all that trouble when it is easier to circumvent it?
