I previously hadn't been able to confirm the Beto sticker on his truck. I'm still thinking its a rumor and wishful thinking. I hope someone can get it confirmed. Of course, no MSM news source would ever print it if it was true. We need a wrecker driver or police officer to photograph the truck in impound or something.03Lightningrocks wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 3:23 pmThat happens when smoking pot while driving.powerboatr wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 3:20 pmyep
and he had a BETO sticker on his car. that alone should have raised a red flag. not to be political, but around Austin drivers with beto stickers drive like they are on another planet , lost, dazed and no idea which lane to stay in

If it was on twitter, it has to be true.

yes, and this is exactly why the private sale loophole needs to be closed. it's common sense, we cant have mentally deranged or autistic or retardeds out there buying assault rifles and shooting up the place!03Lightningrocks wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 10:41 pmMaybe not.He would have had to KNOWINGLY sell to a felon.

Really? What about the three mass shootings before this one? They all passed the background checks. Now what?hondo44 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 11:40 pmyes, and this is exactly why the private sale loophole needs to be closed. it's common sense, we cant have mentally deranged or autistic or retardeds out there buying assault rifles and shooting up the place!03Lightningrocks wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 10:41 pmMaybe not.He would have had to KNOWINGLY sell to a felon.

Oh, so you want the government telling us what we can and can't do with our private property? What about when you want to sell a TV set to someone, and the government decides you can't do that because that TV might be unsafe, and needs to go through a repair shop first? Or you want to sell a used car to a family member, but the government decides that you can't, it needs to be sold ONLY to a dealership. And so on and so forth because once they tell you what you can and can't do with one type of personal property, then they just expand that when they feel like expanding it. A liberty surrendered is not easily regained.hondo44 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 11:40 pmyes, and this is exactly why the private sale loophole needs to be closed. it's common sense, we cant have mentally deranged or autistic or retardeds out there buying assault rifles and shooting up the place!03Lightningrocks wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 10:41 pmMaybe not.He would have had to KNOWINGLY sell to a felon.

Back grounds should be done for that car sale. They may be drinkers and drivers. We have too much Government intrusions now.K.Mooneyham wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 1:17 amOh, so you want the government telling us what we can and can't do with our private property? Re: Reported: Active shooter in Odessa, TX
Or, just maybe, the Feds should have investigated, arrested, and prosecuted the shooter when he tried to buy through a dealer and enforced existing law. That would have likely prevented the entire event.hondo44 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 11:40 pmyes, and this is exactly why the private sale loophole needs to be closed. it's common sense, we cant have mentally deranged or autistic or retardeds out there buying assault rifles and shooting up the place!03Lightningrocks wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 10:41 pmMaybe not.He would have had to KNOWINGLY sell to a felon.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

I am against "universal background checks". Even if they worked perfectly, which they don't, they won't prevent these acts of violence. Perpetrators will simply switch from one tool to another.
If states want to do something to keep prohibited people from owning firearms, then add a box to the state issued ID stating they are prohibited. It can be easily verified by a private seller.

Re: Reported: Active shooter in Odessa, TX
An AR15 IS NOT AN ASSAULT RIFLE! Don't use the terminology used by the Looney left! The AR15 is a magazine fed Semi Auto, an Assault Rifle has a selector switch that allows it to go from Semi Auto to full auto or three round burst, there is no private sale loop hole, once again terminology used by the leftest, until the make NCIS available to the public then government has no role in a private sale! My AR15 was bought from a buddy I worked with in the fire dept, my P12 was bought from a buddy I worked with at Careflite, my son carries a P14 I gave him! His AR15 was built from a lower I gave him! None of that is any of the Government business! Or country is screaming towards the cliff of socialism right now! Do some reading, Socialism has slaughtered more people than anything else! NONE OF MY GUNS ARE ANY OF THE GOVERNMENT'S BUSINESS!hondo44 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 11:40 pmyes, and this is exactly why the private sale loophole needs to be closed. it's common sense, we cant have mentally deranged or autistic or retardeds out there buying assault rifles and shooting up the place!03Lightningrocks wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 10:41 pmMaybe not.He would have had to KNOWINGLY sell to a felon.
Government, like fire is a dangerous servant and a fearful master

In order to track this, ALL guns would have to be registered AND tracked. It would take several generations to make this approach effective.hondo44 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 11:40 pmyes, and this is exactly why the private sale loophole needs to be closed. it's common sense, we cant have mentally deranged or autistic or retardeds out there buying assault rifles and shooting up the place!03Lightningrocks wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 10:41 pmMaybe not.He would have had to KNOWINGLY sell to a felon.
