I am looking for recommendations for non-LTC training such as defensive training in the Houston area. I've had my CHL/LTC for 8 years, and I practice twice / month at a range.
Any recommendations, suggestions, etc.?

Re: Non-LTC training
Plus for KR Training. It is worth the drive. In addition to the stellar instructors and classes, Karl hosts other national trainers. Just this year I have attended classes there with John Murphy and Lee Weems. Maas Ayoob is there this weekend. Gabe White next month. Caleb Causey, of Lone Star Medics, in December.
The range is near Manheim, Texas, northwest of Giddings. Coming from Houston, Giddings would be a good place to stay overnight.

Re: Non-LTC training
Clint Smith has a great attitude, straight to the point and has been training people for I believe 40-50 years. Different levels of training depending on your experience.
