Well shoot, TAM, I step away for a few days for Houston's flooding adventures and you go and do this.
Seriously, hope surgery is successful today and without issue! Praying my friend.

WHEW!
Found and clipped an ulcer. Discovered an unknown hiatal hernia. Have not slept for more than an hour or two straight since waking up Thursday morning, and I’m exhausted. Gonna try to sleep now.

The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

Good news that they found and fixed the issues. Continued prayers. Don't be afraid the ask the nurse for something to help you get some much needed sleep. The Annoyed Man wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2019 9:47 am WHEW!

hernia surgery can be painful, stay ahead of the pain. husband had it, he let the pain get out of hand, took a while to get it back in control, don't be "macho" about it.
We'll be praying for you.

Wow, I’ve been away from the forum for just a couple days, and this caught my eye first thing when I logged in?!?
I’m glad to hear that all is going well so far. I’m sure that The Annoyed Doctors and The Annoyed Nurses will take good care of you.
We’ll definitely keep you in our prayers and hope for a speedy recovery.

Seriously now, I feel I’ve cheated you by writing fewer than 2700 words in a TAM-worthy response - you certainly deserve better, but I’m typing on an iPhone, and this is all you’re gonna get today.
