Our first boy, third child overall. Mother and baby are doing great. I already had a lot to be proud of, this is just one more thing to add to that list. A wonderful Christmas present for our family.

Congrats! Just remember a touch of Vick's vapor rub in the nose goes a long way in helping Mom change diapers.

^^^Haha. Big sis has already noted that she’ll do anything we need, except change stinky diapers.

Awesome! Congrats Dad!
Word of advice, if I may..... Don't cheat the boy on birthday presents with a birthday so close to Christmas. Maybe consider celebrating on the half-birthday to keep it special. Had a buddy growing up that was born on Christmas. He was always grumbling about it.
Had another buddy in college that was born on December 31st. That guy never has to go to work the day after his birthday. Lucky dude.

^^^Well his oldest sister’s birthday is 12/28. We’ve always been very deliberate in separating the two events. Even going so far as taking down the tree/decorations on the 26th as a result. This is just another layer on that. Thankfully we have a full week between their birthdays (with Christmas in between) to help seperate things.
As for celebrating we’ve typically done a party over the summer as it’s difficult during the holiday season to coordinate with her friends/friends’ families and travel. Plus, that means she (they) can do pool parties that would otherwise be tough to do in December.
