I had a problem with back and leg pain a few years ago. An MRI showed a cyst applying pressure to the spine at l4/l5. An orthopedic spinal specialist prescribed PT and injection. After a couple of months the pain was worse. I saw a neurosurgeon and he prescribed surgery that was done the same week. That did it. It was one night in the hospital and then sent home with pain drugs which were never needed. It was like a miracle.

The point is it might be worthwhile to get another opinion, maybe from someone like a neurosurgeon/spinal specialist. Good luck!
Spine doc recommended pt for the first attempt. Injections if pt is unsuccessful.

Thanks for sharing your story. Gives me hope. :thumbs2:
