These two...... An Inland M1 Carbine, and an Ithaca 1911A1 - both manufactured in 1943. The are safe queens, but I do get them out about once a year and put a few rounds through them. Everything else in the safe gets taken out periodically and shot....except maybe my shotguns.

I always considered a "safe queen" to be a firearm that was kept in pristine condition and never shot in order to retain value. Given the examples here on the thread, I have some that don't get out much that qualify. I have a few NIB vintage guns that will go to my heirs to do with as they please I guess. They are not of extremely high value, but are definitely worth more by being unfired. I don't get my Belgium Hi Power out much, so that would be my offering for the thread.

Thanks a lot for asking. I am on my 4th year on a kidney transplant. I am mostly living normally. However, the 25 pills each day including 10 blond pressure pills per day make me feel like a very old person. It slows my heart rate and my blood pressure at the same time

I take solace by having each Saturday, a shooting day.

My Ruger Match Champion fits the OP's definition the best. WAY too nice a firearm to be carrying, even though it would be excellent for the task. I would just hate to ever be forced to use it in a real-world situation, and run the risk of not getting it back. I do try to take it out and run a couple of hundred rounds through it every so often, though, as it is a great shooter. (Stock picture, don't have one of mine, but it's the exact same.)

That's a great! Sounds like you are making the best of it. I know you realize it more than most that every day we are given is a blessing!
