Yeah, I think he got popped a few hours later, and for 24 hours. Mine was just for 12 hours.

Apparently speaking the truth is all that is required these days to get banned on social media. The Annoyed Man wrote: ↑Thu Sep 20, 2018 1:26 pm I got suspended for 12 hours on Twitter for calling a spade a spade. Oddly enough, I in no way promoted violence against, threatened, or harassed Chelsea Handler. I was replying to an article posted by BreitbartNews about Chelsea Handler alleging that Justice Clarence Thomas is still as much a sexual predator today as much as he was in 1991. The funny thing was, the suspension notice I got didn’t take more than about 15 seconds after I posted my response. Obviously, Handler has someone monitoring her account 24/7 and complaining in real time. What a wuss.
I contacted twitter support to protest the decision, and got a message saying that it would take at least 24-48 hours for them to respond. So there’s no effective appeal for my 12 hour timeout.
This is what social media has come to......and so far, my experience had been that Twitter was much less restrictive than Facebook. I guess not.
I’ll wear it as a badge of honor, and put a big red X next to my handle.
I recently ate a permanent ban on another forum having never violated any of their rules but for making one of their favorites look like a fool by posting actual numbers relative to DGU's, gun ownership, and the likelihood of being the victim of a violent crime absent involvement with drugs and gangs vs what he was peddling as fact.
Wear it with pride.

If I understood the purpose of Twitter I might cosnider joining. But, as I see it, it is nothing more than a place to argue, slander, and divide. One persons opinion is no better than another person's opinion. Who cares what someone thinks or believes. What does one learn from the average twitter tweet? Sorry, but to me it is a useless waste of time for like mided people to argue and deride opposing groups of like minded people. Color me an old coger.

I use it to keep up with notifications from local emergency officials (road closures, weather). I don't send out tweets, but I do follow local government there.G26ster wrote: ↑Sat Sep 22, 2018 7:01 pm If I understood the purpose of Twitter I might cosnider joining. Twitter is a communication tool. It is a means to reach out to a whole lot of people. You have quite a bit of control who you can reach out to, Whether it's friends, family or celebrity or Political leaders. The power of an almost unlimited voice is beautiful and yet most ugly at the same time.

This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
