They just pushed all their chips into the middle

3. Employee Support: We are doubling our usual employee donation match to organizations aligned with our Safer Tomorrow Fund. Additionally, we’re encouraging employees to utilize their five hours a month in paid volunteer time to get more politically active.

No,, their chips are so far on the left side of the table, they are about to fall off.
Never wear anything by LS, anyway, so none of my money will be going to support the gun grabbers.

If they really want to be part of the solution, I'd suggest they spend their 5 hours as neighborhood watch....... on Chicago's south side........

Re: Levi's CEO: Please don't bring guns into our stores
I got tired of going to look for Levis that were "regular jeans" and finding nothing but "urban styles" on the shelves. I switched to Wranglers some time ago, and buy them at Cavenders. I know I'm going to get what I want there, no "urban styles" to worry about.

Levi’s is my longest boycott.
They ended their support for the Boy Scouts for not allowing Gay leaders many years ago.
The Boy Scouts ended up admitting girls, gay adult leaders and changing their name.
So I guess Levi’s can claim victory.
Doesn’t mean my boycott will ever end.

I kinda like it. Asking nicely instead of using the law. I'll respect his wishes.
I wear Wranglers.

Levis are an overpriced fashion accessory. They ended their relationship with the history that made them an icon in the pursuit of profit. Their politics are off-putting, but I don't buy their products because if their decision to market overpriced goods to posers.

Started my boycott of Levis back in the 90s when they first started supporting antigun groups.
Sent them a letter and got a reply from a VP that claimed the groups they supported were not antigun.
I replied with a screen shot of that group's web page.
Graduated with my doctorate in 2000 and had to buy work clothes. Dockers were the uniform of choice.
I bought a knockoff by Hanes. Spent over $200 on clothes and mailed the VP a copy of the receipt.
Never heard back.

“You may wonder why a company that doesn’t manufacture or sell guns is wading into this issue, but for us, it’s simple,” Bergh wrote. “Americans shouldn’t have to live in fear of gun violence. It’s an issue that affects all of us — all generations and all walks of life."
Apparently he has no idea what the current laws are.He added that he is not advocating to repeal the 2nd Amendment nor calling gun owners irresponsible.
"We can’t insulate ourselves from every threat," Bergh wrote. "We can’t 'harden' every place we gather — whether it be our schools, workplaces, shops, churches, or entertainment venues. But we can take common-sense, measurable steps — like criminal background checks on all gun sales — that will save lives."

Please forward to all your friends.
As soon as I heard this I cleaned out my closet and will never own another product manufactured by Levi Strauss. I had been a loyal customer since 1965.

I got just a few Levis things but I never buy any more unless I find some used.
I 'm just an Ole Sinner saved by Grace and Smith & Wesson.
