Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast
I was hoping to make this one as well, to visit with my northern neighbors, some of who make the trip south every month, but it looks like I will be working this Saturday. If that changes, I definitely plan on being there.

Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast
Wonderful way to spend a rainy Saturday morning. strogg, surprise_i'm_armed, chasfm11, Paladin and myself spent a few hours discussing the events we've seen on the forum and other gear.
The most amusing point of breakfast to me was when chasfm11 mentioned about being a ham radio operator. I pulled out my wallet and whipped out my ham license and laid it on the table. chasfm11, Paladin, and strogg all followed suit; leaving surprise_i'm_armed as the only person at the table without his ticket. The rest of us suggested he join the club! Looking forward to Arlington next week!

Lena: You mentioned your geography would make the round trip to Frisco about 3 hours.
I just mapquested Cash, TX, as noted in your personal information.
Cash, TX is 264 miles from Frisco, in a northeasterly direction, requiring over 4 hours each way.
Cash appears to be up Wichita Falls/Amarillo way.
Has your residence moved more to East Texas?

Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast
I was there about three month's ago for a family reunion. All my mother's relatives were from an area within a 7-8 mile radius of Greenville. I drove by my grandparent's last place just south of the now dilapidated Cash Store and visited their resting place in Weiland Cemetery.Pawpaw wrote: ↑Tue Aug 14, 2018 8:58 pmCash is south of Greenville on SH 34.surprise_i'm_armed wrote: ↑Tue Aug 14, 2018 8:33 pm Lena: You mentioned your geography would make the round trip to Frisco about 3 hours.

I wish I had been there as I had planned but I was stuck at home caring for my sick daughter that rainy morning.Flightmare wrote: ↑Sat Aug 11, 2018 3:36 pm Wonderful way to spend a rainy Saturday morning. strogg, surprise_i'm_armed, chasfm11, Paladin and myself spent a few hours discussing the events we've seen on the forum and other gear.
