My packet was completed on the 21st, if I remember correctly. As of today, July 1st, everything has been completed, print pending. 10 days. I am thoroughly impressed and pleased. Hats off to the good folks at the DPS.

Packet completed the 21st of June. License mailed the 3rd of July. Extremely impressed, and glad I don’t live somewhere like the Democratic People’s Republic of California.

Waiting anxiously to be able to complete my Walmart walk.

Figured by now the Print Pending would be changed. But not sure what effect the holiday had on things.

Maybe I’m tripping, but looking thru the forum I have never seen a print pending last more than 3 days. Mine is officially a 7 days or 5 business days. I just don’t see the holiday slowing down production this much.

Called DPS and was told mine went to print on July 3. Status still shows print pending. How long does printing take? Seems like I should have seen an update showing mailed after a couple of days Ready for plastic in hand so I’ll be official

It seems from my experience, print pending takes a week to clear.
With you could out for express mail. I would pay for that.

Thanks for the info! Looks as if you were exactly correct! All that’s left in yellow is my background check and the printing of the license. Looks like it’s time for holster and belt shopping. Anyone have any solid recommendations to conceal a Glock 19 in the Texas heat? (I usually wear khaki shorts with belt loops and a polo, and I don’t really want to have to sacrifice firepower for comfort if I don’t have to.)

The holster I use is a DeSantis Gunhide Rail Ryder. It is crazy convenient, the holster stays attached to the pistol the entire time and is attached to the light rail below the barrel. Never have to worry about my gun catching on the holster and not coming out, because the holster comes out with the gun. At first it looks like it blocks the ejection port but I haven't had any issues whatsoever with it on my sr9c.
