Did you read the actual proposal? Get ready for Democrats to raise a fuss about the 20 day limit policy they voted in that is about to be eliminated with "legislative action". I see the chess move pretty good from here and I like it.

He just negated the false shrills of indignation and virtue signaling by dems and forced them to now admit they are truly the ones playing games to keep immigration reform as voting issue mid terms.

I think it is pretty obvious to any American with intelligence, the Democrats are less concerned with children of the illegal immigrants than they are with the fraudulent votes they can rack up from their parents or traffickers.
