Which organization do you think is best.
Guilty as charged, I've not signed up for the NRA membership yet, but plan on it in the next few days. But I was looking over a few lists and was wondering which organization my money would help the best.
Opinions, thoughts ?
National Rifle Association (NRA) : https://membership.nrahq.org/
Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) : https://www.saf.org/
Firearms Coalition : http://www.firearmscoalition.org/
Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA) : http://www.ccrkba.org
Gun Owner of America (GOA) : http://gunowners.org

In 2013, did my research and picked the NRA as my national group and the TSRA as my state group. In my observation, these groups continue to be the most effective advocates for the nation and for Texas.

I belong to the NRA but I invest heavily in precious metals. Copper and lead.

Wouldn’t hurt to make a donation now and then to John Lott’s Crime Prevention Research Center. https://crimeresearch.org
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

Re: Which organization do you think is best.
Definitely not NAGR. My understanding is when Colorado wanted to raise their idiotic magazine capacity limit from ten to 30, NAGR promised to oppose any legislator voting for the raised limit. In their view, 90% "for" is 100% "against."
I think it's a Constitutional crime to require a license to keep and bear arms.
On the other hand, licensed carry on a shall-issue basis is worlds better than prohibition. NAGR would prefer prohibition, at least from what I've seen.
Please fact-check me. For the moment, I think OCT and NAGR are cut from the same cloth, and achieve the same questionable results.
If I'm wrong, whip out your checkbook and give 'em a boost.![Jester :biggrinjester:](./images/smilies/biggrinjester.gif)

I'm obviously biased, but I will note that the NRA is the only organization the left is trying to destroy. There is a reason for this.

Yes on NRA and TSRA. They are very effective, but secondarily, I recommend SAF. They sue city and county entities over Constitutional restrictions, and make a lot of local politicians toe the line.
