So, several months of planning for a protest of something that happened only 38 days before the event.

For the record, I believe my show was the first to feature David immediately after that horrific shooting and even noted how "poised" he was given the tragedy

Why shouldn't he be, Laura? It was and is rehearsed and deliberate, not an emotional reaction.

Why would he say "Parkview" Florida instead of Parkland? If it's that close to his house, he should not get that confused. I find the validity of such videos and claims highly suspect. Just as there is always a liberal looking to capitalize on a tragedy, there is conspiracy theorist looking to spin a conspiracy.

Still, the march permit was applied for less than a week after the shooting. Seems like a lot of pre-planning went into the aftermath of the tragedy.

Some Parkland Students Say Increased Security Measures Are Too Much

Another Parkland student, Isabelle Robinson, said school is about to be "so much worse" because of the additional security measures, which also include the need to wear new school IDs.

"It feels like being punished," she said this week on CNN. "It feels like jail, being checked every time we go to school."

Ben Franklin anyone? What's the chance anyone will learn Franklin's lesson?

The kids didn't organize anything, it was all done by adults. We all know they are being manipulated like puppets by the leftists.

I know that. I was just pointing out the obvious (to any thinking person). If we don't shine a light on the leftest lies, who will?

With all this talk of kids getting more and more political (including an item I just read today about elementary school kids kneeling while PERFORMING the national anthem at a ball game), I took some time just now to go back and watch an old movie called "Wild in the Streets," made back in the late '60's. It's a pretty terrible movie, but is a relevant and interesting story about how young people in the US get behind a young, charismatic leader. This young leader manages to take over an effort from a Congressman who is in favor of reducing the voting age from 21 to 18. However, this young charismatic guy manages to get enough young people (between the ages of 21 to 25) involved in voting to actually get the voting age reduced from 21 down to 14 years old! Then the movie moves on to even stranger (but not totally unbelievable) territory from there. Like I said: "interesting." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_in_the_Streets

Anyway, no real point to all that, other than to say that motivated and involved youth in politics (or any large block group for that matter, especially when guided by experienced political activist groups) can be something we need to be wary of, and prepared to do battle against (figuratively speaking, of course).

I've written both my US Senators and my US Representative (again), and will do so yet again soon. I'm already an NRA member, and have also sent an extra financial contribution to NRA-ILA. So what else can we do to help win this "battle?"

I have a sneaky suspicion that bots are being directed towards both sides of the debate. The whole purpose of bots seems intent on sewing confusion, divisiveness, and animosity into the media and culture.
