I have never not gotten a rebate back from a company. If you comply with their terms of submission then you'll get your money back.

I would keep copies of everything in case the USPS loses something.

I have never had an issue with any rebate ever. Just read the directions and you'll be fine. I'd imagine they'd have a PR disaster on their hands if they didn't pay out rebates. I'd personally make a stink as it's $90...$90 to buy more ammo.

Academy website shows 9mm buckets available at my local store, so I take a drive. Can't find it. Ask employee and he points to an empty shelf. Check website on phone and it still shows the 9mm buckets in stock at the store. SMH. Buy two buckets online while standing in the store.

Assuming I get the rebate for an online purchase, 13 cents and bit per round isn't bad for 9mm range ammo.

No deals seen on MSR ammo at Academy. Even their steel case Monarch is more expensive than what I paid for XM193LC1 online.

I went to Academy in McKinney this morning, and they were out of stock on 9mm. So then I went to Cabella's in Allen. Bunches of buckets in 9mm - no limit on purchase. Picked up 3 buckets at $74.99 - more than the Academy price. But the Cabella's purchase came with a $25 Christmas instant in-store or on-line rebate (must be used by Dec 24). $8.33 per bucket off the $74.99 = $66.67/bucket.

After I got home, I noticed one bucket was noticeably heavier than the other two. I weighed all 3 buckets - 4258 grams, 4263 grams, 5066 grams. Opened all 3 and one bucket definitely had more rounds in it.
So I emptied one bucket to get empty weight, weighed 30 rounds to get a per round average weight. Subtracted the empty bucket weight, divided by the per round weight. First 2 buckets were 350 rounds (+/- 1), the third bucket calculated at 420 rounds. 70 more rounds for free ain't bad!

I went to Academy in Flower Mound last night to pick up a bucket. The guy behind the gun counter just snickered a bit when I asked if he had any 9mm left and told me that the store had been out since 6am Friday (the previous morning). Went down the street to Dicks. They had a bunch of buckets of 9mm on the shelf and did a price-match to 69.99.

The rebate is a Remington rebate so it doesn't matter where you buy it. Thanks DSG!

I scored a bucket of 9mm at my local Academy. They didn't have any .45 though. Clerk told me all they received was 9mm and .380. Oh well, better than nothing. Rebate will go in the mail this week.
