Trump wants to end the diversity lottery program. This is the way the NYC truck terrorist entered the US. John McCain said it was a non starter.
Does anyone in Arizona still like him?
Just this week, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) admitted that he did not even bother reading Trump’s immigration priorities, calling the 70-point list that included ending the Diversity Visa Lottery “non-starters.”
John McCain long ago lost "hero" status for being shot down over Vietnam and being taken prisoner. He no longer represents the best interests of the United States.

Trump wants NYC Truck terrorist considered an enemy combatant and taken to Guantanamo.

A little Guantanamo action for our Isis buddy.

Best news I have heard all day.

It should be easy to eliminate the diversity visa program. It was created in 1990 by a bill supported by Schumer, passed by bipartisan votes and signed into law by George Bush. Schumer supported getting rid of the program as part of a comprehensive immigration plan that passed in the Senate in 2013 but the plan was blocked in the House because of the amnesty issue.

What possible benefit is there for the citizens of this country to raffle off entry into the U.S. rather than open it to people that will bring a skill and direct benefit? At the minimum they should have to buy a raffle ticket. Pure stupidity.

Everything Dale stated is true and verifiable. The bill was passed by a bipartisan vote of congress and signed into law in 1990 by George HW Bush. The Government Accountability Office reviewed the program in 2007 and found no documented evidence that diversity immigrants posed a terrorist threat, but it concluded that the program was vulnerable to fraud. The State Department under President George W. Bush rejected the agency’s recommendations, contending that its fraud-screening program was robust. Once more a Republican president defended the Diversity VISA program. In 2013 an immigration reform bill (sponsered by Schumer, McCain, Flake, Graham, Rubio and others) would have ended the Diversity Visa program. That bill passed the senate on bipartisan lines (including some other unpopular things such as a path to amnesty). It was stalled in the house, once more by Republicans and the Diversity VISA program remained, Blame for the Diversity VISA program should be shared by many if one wants to go down that road. Anyone suggesting otherwise is ignoring facts and history to gain a speaking point

Obviously your statement is a mere personal attack. It should be retracted and an apology should be issued.

The diversity Visa Lottery is a prime example of what the government considers comprehensive immigration reform.

The first real Islamist terrorist attack in the United States occurred with the first bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993. Prior to that Islamic terrorism had not really occurred in the United States out side of the occasional focused attack on a Jewish or a pro democracy Iranian groups. Bill Clinton was president until 2001. http://www.johnstonsarchive.net/terrorism/wrjp255a.html

After 2001 Islamic terrorism increased dramatically in the United States. George Bush and Barrack Obama were Presidents in the 16 years after that horrific event on 9/11. Initially George Bush promised to tighten border security, and deport those who had overstayed visas, etc. However, the Barack Obama administration gave the impression that the US was open to anyone who could get here legal or otherwise.

In the partial year since Donald Trump became President in 2017, he has attempted to stem the tide of Islamic immigration, however his efforts have been thwarted by Federal Judges and suits brought by State Attorney Generals. Those suits are currently making their way through the courts.

I think terrorists who attack in the US should be identified by the President they entered the US under. The latest terrorist attack was carried out by an Obama immigrant.

We really should get rid of the diversity visa program and the current quota system. It should be based on merit and job skills, so both the immigrant and the USA benefit from the deal.

We also should put a tax or tariff on H1B visas to help curb the long standing abuse. Maybe a 50% flat tax on H1B workers with no exemptions or deductions, in lieu of US income tax and FICA. If a company really can't find qualified Americans they will happily pay, but it will discourage companies doing it just for cheaper labor.

DNC was bought and paid for:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/11 ... inton.html
The fix was in after all.

Last year's presidential primary between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders was rigged by the Democratic National Committee - just as Sanders' supporters suspected - to hand the nomination to Clinton, according to a bombshell claim by Donna Brazile. The onetime Clinton confidante, CNN commentator and former interim party boss made the explosive claim Thursday while touting a new book that could sever her ties to Team Clinton for good.
https://www.politico.com/magazine/story ... 016-215774
The Saturday morning after the convention in July, I called Gary Gensler, the chief financial officer of Hillary’s campaign. He wasted no words. He told me the Democratic Party was broke and $2 million in debt.

“What?” I screamed. “I am an officer of the party and they’ve been telling us everything is fine and they were raising money with no problems.”

That wasn’t true, he said. Officials from Hillary’s campaign had taken a look at the DNC’s books. Obama left the party $24 million in debt—$15 million in bank debt and more than $8 million owed to vendors after the 2012 campaign—and had been paying that off very slowly. Obama’s campaign was not scheduled to pay it off until 2016. Hillary for America (the campaign) and the Hillary Victory Fund (its joint fundraising vehicle with the DNC) had taken care of 80 percent of the remaining debt in 2016, about $10 million, and had placed the party on an allowance.

This fix was in for a long time.

Wow, CNN has the story burried deep but it is still there. DNC is broke as a joke, and if not for Hillary, would have had to file bankruptcy . Wow, just wow!

This is what makes me think the fix was in way early. Left them in debt with no other good ways out. Along comes Hildebeast to bail them out, and make them a deal they couldn't refuse.

Trump is in Japan.

Other news on Trump. He is out of town for the one year anniversary of his election. Apparently a lot of Antifa protests planned.

A gaggle of 7 Saudi Princes were arrested this weekend in Saudi Arabia. Rumors are that they all worked with the Podesta Group. Trump seems to be tight with the King and the Prince in line. Included is a very wealthy Prince who owns a big stake in companies like Apple.

Trump is conveniently in Japan. Trump did brag about our Patriot missile shooting down a Yemen (Iran surrogate) missile fired at the Riyadh.

The special prosecutor may charge Flynn.

Starting out with a special prosecutor on your back sure makes life difficult for a new President. I'm sure Trump regrets his choice for Attorney General.

Except that Trump didn't start out with a special investigator. Mueller was appointed in May, 8 days after firing Comey... the same day it became public that a grand jury had issued subpoenas to associates of former national security adviser Mike Flynn, and 7 days after Trump hosted a private oval office meeting with the Russian ambassador and revealed highly classified intelligence about the Islamic State and American counterterrorism plans. I'm sure Trump is regretting a lot of his decisions at this point.
