I don't want to violate any rules so I'll just say I have been carrying in public since I got my CHL, and before that I had a hunting license because there's no closed season for rabbits.

Since kids started walking, about 15 years ago as I realized I'd lost much of my situational awareness with little kids in tow.

Since 1953...just kidding, thats the year i was born. Got my LTC in march 2016 and carried every day ever since.

October 2008 - Took my CHL class after being made aware of the deal
from a Hawaiian transplant to Texas.
12/2/08 - Plastic was received, but I didn't have a gun yet!
1/23/09 - First carried into a junkyard while I was looking for parts.
I thought everyone was looking at me!
So I've been carrying every day, in every legal place, since then - 8.5 years.
After I got used to carrying 1 handgun, I added an extra mag or two.
At work I carry my XDS45 in 5 + 1 mode, in my pocket, + 2 extra 7 round mags.
If I'm not at work, I usually delete the mags and add my Ruger SR9C, 17 +1 mode, to the XDS45.
I wished I had gotten my CHL much earlier, but I didn't have awareness of how easy it
was to get your CHL here.

Friday the 13th, February 2015 for me. An auspicious, easy to remember day. I have been out and about without a firearm about as often as without a pocketknife since, and I am never without a pocketknife or two.
It's wonderful to carry without the worry of crossing the law. I'm very grateful I'm finally free to do so. In the years prior, going back to about 1980, I carried where I thought the vague defenses in the law would reasonably allow.
And Friday the 13th will forever put a little spring in my step.

2009 when I aged in. But did not start daily carry until late 2010 due to college campus limitations.
