Lots of information in that video. Kind of long, but it certainly gives me an appreciation of what it took for the team (shooter and spotter) working together to make that shot. Certainly a lot of finely tuned skills and equipment, but more than a smidgen of luck, I suspect. My hat is off to that team!

I'm not sure how much energy was left in the round that hit him at that distance, but whatever that .50 BMG hit might have just exploded and then whatever remained just fell over. I can only imagine what anyone standing next to or near him thought in the next second or two.

They probably never heard the shot even a few seconds later at that distance.
