What service? UPS?twomillenium wrote:If it is a private sale then shipping can be done direct, it need not go to a FFL.
I have not done this but I would think that the service that delivers them to a FFL will deliver to a home (which is where many FFL operate from)rotor wrote:What service? UPS?twomillenium wrote:If it is a private sale then shipping can be done direct, it need not go to a FFL.
I believe you can ship via both UPS and Fed Ex, just not USPS. I also believe that you are required by law to inform the shipper that you are shipping a handgun. Both UPS and Fed Ex prefer (per their policies) for this notice to be given to the clerk when you make the shipment, but you may want to send an e-mail to their corporate office instead so you have a copy of it.rotor wrote:What service?
