FORT WORTH, Texas -- A search is under way for two men who killed one person and injured two others in a home invasion shooting Sunday, Fort Worth police said.

Police said the men broke into a home in the 2500 block of Tierney Road and began pistol-whipping a man and a woman. Another person in the house was shot. The victim was rushed to John Peter Smith Hospital where he died, authorities said.

Fort Worth police said the two men were wearing ski masks and were armed with a shotgun and a pistol.

At this point, detectives said they are not sure if the shooting was a random attack or if the victims knew the two gunman.

The name of the victim has not been released.

i do hope they find these thugs.

we are living in sad times when we have to worry about someone bursting into our own homes and assassinating us.

the fact that i now lock my pickup (with nothing valuable inside) in the parking lot of a small town cafe is evidence that i have been conditioned to criminal activity in the united states.

it really is sad.
