Re: Time for a Shield!
Went with Palmetto for $319.99. No tax, free shipping. Paying a buddy $20 for transfer so $265 total isn't a bad deal. Thanks for the tip!

Ordered one for my birthday today, $259 including ffl fee. My gift to myself LOL!
I'm sure the wife will enjoy it as well.

Re: Time for a Shield!
That little bugger is a good shooter, especially the 9mm ported. (not sure if porting would help, but the trigger is not bad and it is an accurate shooter.

Re: Time for a Shield!
I already had a Shield 9mm, but went ahead a bought a Shield .45. $245 after rebate. How could I pass it up. I see Palmetto State Armory has the Shield 9mm for $299.99 before rebate.
I bet the rebates are really hurting the sales of the Taurus PT111.

You can use one rebate for each pistol you buy. Buy two, get two rebates.

Re: Time for a Shield!
I picked up the 9mm no safety version from PSA and added the Apex flat faced enhancement trigger and duty/carry kit on mine. Although the trigger is much nicer I do not think it is enough improvement over stock to justify the cost. I will say that with the right ammo it sure is an accurate little pistol. Mine really liked the Cor-Bon Urban Response ammo and was extremely accurate with it.
