Savage MSR15 Patrol Rifle & MSR Recon

#1

Post by Abraham »

These 2 rifles got bang up reviews recently.

They're touted as bargains for what you get, in many different categories, chiefly accuracy.

Own one?

If so, please give us your review.

Good or bad.

Thanks

P.S. Yes, of course, I'm looking into buying one or the other...

I concur. Based upon what I've read seem to be good AR's. Hopefully someone on the forum has/will bought one and can give feedback.

I have the Recon and love it. Got close to 1000 rounds through it and it shoots straight with no issues.

I just picked up my Recon today from Grab a Gun. It is a beautiful weapon!! I hope to take it shooting soon.

I really prefer the looks of the Patrol, so what's the Recon have going for it the Patrol doesn't?

Free floated barrel or ...?

Thanks!

I've been trying to decide whether I'd rather have one of those, or a Springfield Saint.

tx mountaineer,

Thanks for the link.

Yeah, NF is a long winded cuss, but he usually does a fairly good reviewing job.

I'm watching this in short, video installments...
