I just got an 92 SB but the grips have a minor crack and I would like to replace them with Beretta factory grips - but I can not find any definative answer as to whether the SB will take the same grips as the 92 FS .
Anyone had a 92 SB and replaced the grips?

The SB has the mag release in the same location as he current model, up at the trigger guard, right? If so, then yes, you can use any of the grips available for the current 92FS or 92A1. The reverse is not true though because the later FS model made a change to the diameter of the head of the hammer pin.
