I planned to attend your kick-off get together, but will not be able to make it. Good luck with the meet-up and to all who attend, Vol Texan is a great guy and I know you'll make a new friend.

I forgot about an appointment to take the boss's car to the shop tomorrow so I will be there in the morning. I hope you guys have a good turnout and a good time.

I hope you guys have a good turn out. I will DEFINITELY be at the next one. I can't make this one because of previously scheduled conflict.

That was fun! Can't wait for the next one! I've got a pic to post but it's being "modified" at the moment, and I'm heading to GRB! Stay tuned....

Re: Houston West Quadrant Breakfast
Thank you Vol Texan for the breakfast invite. The food was yummy and we had a great time of fellowship. It was nice to meet the forum members that were there. Will be looking forward to the next meet up.
Re: Houston West Quadrant Breakfast
It was great to meet all of you. Looking forward to next month.
Re: Houston West Quadrant Breakfast
I just saw this post and I am disappointed. I live at Mason and I-10 so I would have been there. I will be there next time.

Jeepers. You could have walked!howdy wrote:I just saw this post and I am disappointed. I live at Mason and I-10 so I would have been there. I will be there next time.
But I couldn't make it, either. Tough timing for me. If I had to pick a Saturday morning, it would be the third Saturday of every month.
If it's the fourth Saturday, I'll make it as often as I can. Still think the location is the best possible pick...even if Howdy can casually stroll there while some of us drive 10 miles.

Re: Houston West Quadrant Breakfast
Sorry to have not responded earlier. I have been going full speed since I left Rudy's yesterday morning...
Thanks to all who came yesterday. Food was great, and the company was even better. I think we all had a good time meeting some like-minded individuals.
As ktfiend mentioned above, we decided to shoot for the third Saturday of each month going forward - our next breakfast will be 18 March at 8:30 am at Rudy's on I-10 in Katy. I hope to meet even more folks then.
Until next month...
