Carrying in car without CHL

Hi just recently purchases my first hand gun (Sig P228!! )

I was wondering if you could carry it in your vehicle loaded or

does the mag and the gun have to be seperate? Also, how do the

new laws effect this?

You can now carry a concealed handgun in your vehicle.

It doesn't matter whether it is loaded.

Please look over the many discussions of the new law. You can still get into a heap of trouble by violating one of the fine points.
