This is a great forum and I've learned a lot. Everybody pretty much gets along and differences of opinion are handled in the correct way and that is the way it should be. Thanks Charles for a great forum and running a tight ship (along with the other moderators).

Agreed. It is like when driving... anyone going faster than you is a crazy driver and anyone slower is a Sunday driver.

To some, unless you actively advocate for total unlicensed carry everywhere on the planet, then you are just Ike Hillary or Obama. To others, if you want Constitutional Carry you may as well be an anarchist.

I agree that one day we will have Constitutional Carry in Texas, but not in 2017. The crucial goal for 2017 needs to be severely gutting 46.03 and 46.035 for license holders. Maybe we don't get schools this time, then we go with what we can get and try again in 2019.

We also have to eliminate the "third party posting" on government property problem as well, maybe get a definition of a school that knocks off some of this junk about "our zoo or museum educates people about animals or history or art, so we are an 'educational institution' and can post signs". If we can do nothing but those three things, I will be happy.

I've only been a member for about 16 months and I enjoy reading the "sensible" discussions that go on here. I agree that the bashing should stop and that there is no place for that here. Thank you Charles for all that you do for us!!

As I remember, you had no hesitancy in "Slapping me upside the head" not long after I joined this board. It resulted in a civil, though serious discussion between us.

The one time I violated that agreement somewhat later, quite soon after I posted, I deleted my own post as inappropriate.
