She won't be cancelling your vote. We are going out later today to vote, then we won't have to listen to anymore political ads.

I just saw that realclearpolitics.com moved Texas from "leans Trump" to toss-up.

Time to go vote and put Hillary out to pasture.

I respect her right not to vote and I agree Trump can be his own worst enemy. He's not a polished politician, but he will not be an uncontrolled maniac in office waiting to push the nuclear button as he is portrayed with the latest round of ads. He will surround himself with advisors just like every other President has done. I remember LBJ's ad with the daisy countdown and mushroom cloud used against Goldwater to portray him as a war monger. Then LBJ got us mired in an undeclared war he never intended to win and filled his own and his cronies' pockets with it. It's ironic that Trump temperament is portrayed in that manner when it was Hillary who wanted to use a drone strike to take out Julian Assange. I bet she wishes she could have managed to do that now. It's that temperament that has been documented in several books by those close to her. .

I'll be heading straight to the polls after my class, hopefully the line won't be to long.

Thanks for the post, I didn't realize that early voting had started already. I will definitely get out there this week.

Personally, I get very frustrated by the whole style over substance trend in our country. Yes Trump is a jerk (any more accurate term would violate forum rules). He wouldn't be someone that I invited over to my house to watch a ball game. Hillary is a practiced politician who has trained herself to hide her frustrations, at least most of the time. Frankly, I don't care all that much about who they insult, or what insensitive things they say. Yes, it was disappointing to hear HRH call me "deplorable" and "irredeemable", and for her predecessor to belittle me and every other religious or freedom loving person as one who "clings to their God and their guns", like some frightened little child. But their hate filled words alone were not enough to keep me from voting for them. I still educated myself on their positions and voted for the candidate that I felt would do the most good, or at least the least harm, to our country. I didn't vote for Hussein Obama, and I won't be voting for HRH, but my voting decisions are not based solely on their offensive and hate filled rhetoric.

I wish that everyone could focus on the true substance and positions of the candidates instead of basing their vote on whether they were offended by something that a candidate said. If you like Hillary's plans for the country better than Trump's, and you think that HRH will appoint better SC justices than Trump will, then by all means vote for HRH. But don't vote for her just because you think Trump is offensive and crude.

I voted this morning for Pence for Vice President. (Just so happens Trump was on the same ticket!) The place I voted at was packed. I don't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing.
