The Senate will not be able to stall Supreme Court appointments forever. And once she's got a couple more judges in, she'll be able to issue any presidential decrees she wants (forget about executive orders). When she's elected (and I increasingly believe it's not "if") the Second Amendment is over. It will be read out of the Constitution.

Maybe a few, but it won't matter. Once she's in, she's in for good. The system is already corrupt, and she'll seal the deal in four years. After that, our elections will mean the same thing they meant in the old Soviet Union.

If I was one of the remaining "right wing" SCOTUS justices I would be very concerned about having a fatal accident or other premature death should a President Clinton get impatient about a liberal justice being appointed. A 4-3 vote is just as good as a 5-4.
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

Yes.

In light of the current political climate and sheer crookedness in our nation today, I will post this quote again; it is one of my favorites. I don't agree with Ayn Rand on a philosophical basis, but I do believe she was a shrewd observer of politics.
“Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with.”

― Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged
The effects of those kinds of EOs is coercion. Even if they are not 100% legal, nor 100% enforceable, it creates fear of being caught up in a trap. It WILL stifle commerce in firearms in this nation. These things give a type of legitimacy to the actions of a regime, backed by a complicit mass media propaganda machine. In Texas, you go into a restaurant, and if you listen, you can hear all kinds of folks talk openly about firearms, just as a normal topic of conversation. In California, firearms aren't talked about in public, unless in hushed tones. That is what they want to do to the entire nation. And if she cannot get actual laws on the books, she'll use whatever power she can muster to chill the right to own firearms, and to lawful self-defense.
