I plan to vote for Hillary. I have voted Republican my whole life, and this will be the first time I go the other way.

The Republican Party is divided. Donald Trump is just absolutely insane. He is not what this country needs.

And before the flames start against me, a little about me. I believe in the Constitution. Donald Trump is a mockery of someone who thinks he knows what he is talking about. And yes, I've faught for those freedoms invested in it. I am educated, a combat army infantry vet with multiple tours to both Iraq and Afghanistan, Purple Heart recipient and CIB earner. I've fought defending the Constitution and I'll be damed if some psychopath thinks that banning a whole religion is okay, or that all hispanics are rapists, or any other of the idiotic nonsense he spills out. Oh, and I pay my taxes.

There was a time when there were many conservative Democrats in Texas, but not anymore. The 1960's extreme left radicals now run the Democrat party.

Do not forget that Ambassador Stevens made four request for a Marine Security detachnent in the weeks preceding the actually attack, since hitlery was in the process of trying to recover and cover up the arms she and obama smuggled into libya for the syrian rebels, those requests for additional security were ignored in order to minimize the number of people that had knowledge of the mission there.

Thank you for your service. I truly mean that. Both of my Son In Laws and Daughter are currently serving so when I say those word they mean somethign to me.

However,
"some psychopath thinks that banning a whole religion is okay" - He never said that. He suggested banning immigration from Islamic countries where we have no basis or ability to verify who these people say they are. Think about they have no working drivers license or passport system. We have no way to vet them even if we tried. Just ask the people in Norway, Switzerland, Germany on and on how well that is working out for them.

"or that all hispanics are rapists" talking about illegal aliens here and they are a problem. He has said on multiple occasions he believes in hardworking legal immigrants.

As far as paying taxes he does. Just because he used deductions for carry over loses from previous years does not mean he dosent pay taxes. Hillary used the same deduction writing off 900k in taxes.

I too thank you for your service. I've been there and understand how it is/was.
All I ask is that you open your mind too some more reliable sources of news. Anything positive that Trump has done is kept buried in the vaults of the media not to see the light of day til after the election, I know he's not the best, but goodness gracious if a republican had done just a couple of the things Hillary is "alleged" to have done they would be in prison immediately if not sooner. Hillary's misdeeds are also in that same vault not to be mentioned. If 1/10th of these allegations about Hillary are true then she should not be any where near the presidency. Benghazi is just the tip of the ice berg of long history of misdeeds. If you or I had treated classified information in the same manner as she does we would have a permanent cell at Ft Leavenworth.'
Think about the supreme court make up if Hillary gets elected. As a gun owner that should scare the crap out of ya. Please give your vote reconsideration.

Thank you for your service. Don't let those liberal university professors and their brain washed students, many of whom have far less real world experience than you, influence your good judgement. The arguments you quote are main stream media propaganda. Keep your eye on the big picture, think about the end goal. Supreme Court justice appointments, a once again properly funded military, a reduction in burdensome regulations and punishing tax rates, the return of manufacturing from overseas, secure borders, an end to Islamic extremist terror, and a better life for generations to come. Don't let yourself be swayed by emotional fabrications that have no substance or objective evidence. God bless you!

Boys and girls, excuse my cynicism but I'm not buying into his story. Mainly because I have people very close to me, in my family, who have served and no Infantry soldier I've met would support this demonic witch for president. Maybe I'm way off, and if so, my bad. But I'm not buying it.

All you say may be true but Trump appears be one of the greatest con men in history. Given that accomplishment he might actually make a big difference as president. Unfortunately he is totally unpredictable, one hardly knows his current position on anything, he demonstrates no intellectual capability to handle complex questions, he has no friends in DC, so it's hard to know what to really expect.
I don't care for Hillary but I certainly don't understand the strong hatred that many take pleasure in showing for her. She and Trump have interesting backgrounds. See: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/film/the-choice-2016/

Wow, I've been a member of this forum for many years & probably know as much or more about gun laws & General CHL/LTC than most on this forum yet I get called a "troll" & bashed for saying I'm voting a certain way. In regards to gun control, I know that neither candidate will ban owning guns, neither will "do away" with the 2nd amendment & there will most definitely be a TEXAS LTC 4 years from now. I'm also not for constitutional carry. I'm glad Texas has eligibility requirements for those wanting LTC's. I'm glad that we do thorough background checks & I'm proud to have & know others who have an LTC knowing they are law abiding citizens. Again, no one will ban the owning/carrying of handguns in Texas- no way no how. It's a state thing, the Texas legislature would have to make that call.
