GlOcK 19 poll
I carry a gen3 G19 everyday and have since I got my LTC last November with the exception of a couple others in rotation but about 95% is the G19. Who else carries the 19?
Re: GlOcK 19 poll
My edc is g26 with +2 extension, so it's kind off g19'ish
Actual g19 that I have is mostly in the safe now, aside from occasional, once every couple of weeks carry.

I used to carry a 19, now I carry the 26 with a Glock 17 mag and a +3 extension (PG39 pearcegrip) for 21 rounds and Xgrip spacer on the belt, and a 26 with either 26 mag with a +3 extension or 19 mag Xghrip spacer in the pocket for 14 to 16 backup roundsparabelum wrote:My edc is g26 with +2 extension, so it's kind off g19'ish

Re: GlOcK 19 poll
I am 49% G26 (also with the +2), 49% G43 and 2% G17. I keep trying to convince myself that I am going to carry the 17 more but it wanes quickly. I don't think I have the right convenience/comfort mix with my holster. Maybe I need to borrow my buddy's G19 and see if it would fly. Glad that you like yours.

G19 in OWB with or without retention, for OC or CC with or without cover garment, always on any kind of road trip.
G43 in OWB for more discreet CC.
Springfield EMP when need to compromise and off body carry , e.g., in briefcase.
Kimber Solo for deep concealment in pocket holster.

Re: GlOcK 19 poll
I used to carry the 26 but I sold it because I just like the 19 more and I'm more confident with it. I could shoot lights out with the 26 but I don't like how small it was. Even with the extension it just didn't feel right. I had a g43 for a while and didn't like it I had a g30 and didn't like it lol I had a Kahr Pm9 loved it but sold it to get my sig p226

Re: GlOcK 19 poll
My Glock 19 was the first gun I bought after moving to Texas 9 years ago. I used it for my CHL qualification, and it is a great gun. It was my first carry weapon (and only one for over a year). I have recently switched to a 1911 for my EDC and have also picked up a few toys that fill the same role as my G19 (CZ Shadow, Sig 226 MK25), so I really should sell the G19. But I just can't bring myself to part with it.

G19 IWB,
the holster is extremely comfortable and has good retention, i recently played volleyball with it, even fell a could times, jumped, etc... gun didn't move

Gen 4 G19 is my EDC, OWB and OC most of the time, with 1 or 2 spare G17 mags. S&W Shield for if I want to carry IWB. LCP Custom for BUG or deep concealment.
I really love my G19, though.

Exactly how I carry as well.parabelum wrote:My edc is g26 with +2 extension, so it's kind off g19'ish

The G19 is just a little bulky for me for everyday (especially in the bucket seats), but the G26 with mag extension is perfect for my OC everyday. If I need to conceal, I go with the flush mag.

Re: GlOcK 19 poll
I carried a G19 for the first year I carried. I downsized to a S&W M&P Shield 9. It wasn't that bad, but it was uncomfortable sometimes. I carried fully loaded + 1 extra mag in appendix position.
Moved it to home duty and it will soon become my first suppressor host.

Keep calm and carry.

Re: GlOcK 19 poll
You're right. Aside from sentimental value, I also have more invested in that gun than I could ever come close to recouping. Ghost trigger bar, extended mag release, extended takedown lever, night sights, Wilson Combat match grade barrel. I think I will just make it my officially designated car gun now that I have installed the Alien gear mount next to my right leg.AndyC wrote:You shouldn't, either - of all the Glocks, the 19 is the good one (in my not-so-humble, completely 1911-biased opinion)
Plus with the possibility of HRH winning, I am not too excited to sell any of my guns. Maybe I just need another safe instead?
