Friendswood, August 25 -- Police credentials from the Texas City Police Department and Galveston County Sheriff’s Department and a Glock 23 were stolen from a parked vehicle in the 1400 block of Sunset in Friendswood (pretty close to PSC). Note mention of a wallet on the seat and a purse on the floor.

I'm not really impressed with FPD's deductive skills.It is not clear from reports how the person gained the credentials and handgun.
