Please send me all of your racist $1 bills with that slave owner George Washington on them. I find them offensive and will destroy them in a fitting manner.

But.. But.. isn't that cannon ...Black?
It must have some kind of deep racist meaning, I'm going to have to stop typing on this white background with black letters. I drink my coffee.... Black
I am going to have to get some counseling for my behavior and change it immediately.
My brain hurts!!!!!!

All of y'all should read this article, you'll get a bang out of it: http://www.thedailybell.com/editorials/ ... atrapping/bblhd672 wrote:In the new world order of the perpetually offended (the "PO"), everything is offensive if they say so. Most of us know this line of false argument and have seen it many times. This was the first time I had seen a word identified to name it, and an explanation stated to succinctly understand it.The term "kafkatrapping" describes a logical fallacy that is popular within gender feminism, racial politics and other ideologies of victimhood. It occurs when you are accused of a thought crime such as sexism, racism or homophobia. You respond with an honest denial, which is then used as further confirmation of your guilt. You are now trapped in a circular and unfalsifiable argument; no one who is accused can be innocent because the structure of kafkatrapping precludes that possibility.
.............
Model A: The accuser states, "Your refusal to acknowledge that you are guilty of (sin, racism, sexism, homophobia, oppression…) confirms that you are guilty of (sin, racism, sexism, homophobia, oppression…)." ........... Even if you are innocent, the only path to redemption is for you to plead guilty and accept punishment. Ideally, for the accuser, you even come to believe in your own guilt.
.............
Model C is a common variant on the same theme. You may not have done, felt or thought anything wrong but you are still guilty because you benefit from a position of privilege created by others. In other words, you are guilty because of your identification with a group such as "male," "white," or "heterosexual." The accusation makes you responsible for the actions of strangers whose behavior you cannot control and who may have died long ago.

If it is, the military might have a problem. I'd bet the Navy isn't the only branch that allows it.

Reminds me of an interrogation from Catch-22. Re: Is the Gadsden flag racist?
Somebody correct my history if I'm wrong but isn't the cannon with the "come and take it" called the Gonzales flag? And following that belief would you not be a racist if your against the "gonzales" flag?
Since I have spent a large part of my life traipsing about in woods, fields and the general outdoors I know that a rattlesnake is not prone to prejudice, they are an equal oppertunity biter, step on them and skin color makes no difference, so how is the flag racist?

Re: Is the Gadsden flag racist?
You should have read the OP's post and article. The OP is about the Gadsden flag. Someone else brought the Gonzales flag into the discussion as a joke, because since the Gonzales cannon is black, is the flag considered racist?crazy2medic wrote:Somebody correct my history if I'm wrong but isn't the cannon with the "come and take it" called the Gonzales flag? Re: Is the Gadsden flag racist?
Yup got that part, I think the whole idea of a flag being racist is just silly, the context in which the flag was created is missed by the low IQ liberals, but once again we have some how devolved into a victim society and everything is just gotten ridiculousThe Annoyed Man wrote:You should have read the OP's post and article. You should read that article on "kafkatrapping" I posted above. It defines that crap better than anything I've ever read.
