I never lived on campus when I was in college, I had friends that did and those that did not get along with their roommates would never leave things they consider valuable around their dorms. A small expense considering how much you have to pay to stay in the dorms

I would think it is in the student handbook before hand to not have firearms in your dorm. I am sure they made them sign agreements to not have one there, now that campus carry is in effect I wouldn't see why your idea is a problem. I would not disclose my status as an LTC holder to anyone that did not need to know.
