This app appears to want you to actually scan your license into the app so that they have your ID number(s). You aren't just signing up for an account, but actually sending them your government-issued ID.

Yeah, that was my first thought when I saw the link (which has somehow been removed) I don't know of anyone who would willingly give anyone information, regarding their carry status, where they are at any particular time, or even whether or not they own firearms.

This is about as stupid a thing to sign up for as the Progressive car insurance
device that you install in your vehicle.

It reports your driving data to Progressive so you can save a few dollars.

As if we don't have enough spying being done to us.

My son and I will have a conversation about something and within a few minutes
the Internet will produce an ad about what we were discussing, or our phones'
Pandora will play a song about the recent discussion. Creepy!!!!
