Liberal NW now creating "cop free zones"

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

Liberal NW now creating "cop free zones"

The stupidity of the Limas in the great North West continues to astound me.
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

Someone who speaks mandarin has talked to them, and now they're saying there was a misunderstanding and cops can eat free on Mondays.
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

Sounds like high speed crawfishing. What a bunch of butter cups. :grumble

Maybe their customers were just scared of the cop's guns and not the cops themselves. It is Washington state, after all.

Yeah sure, misunderstanding.

I wouldn't eat there ever again.

Were I an LEO, I wouldn't trust their food free or not.

I think the severe public negative backlash the restaurant folks received for mistreating/dis-inviting LE business is justly deserved.

Now, the restaurant folks can eat crow with their bamboo shoots as their restaurant slowly goes out of business.

This.^^^

I read another one the other day, not sure I can find the link now, kid working at the place make jerk comments to the police, then the cops found their food was tampered with. I think I would not have ordered any food from a place where one of the workers was hostile, and I would make sure every cop I knew was informed.

They should put that restaurant on a "no response" list to make sure they don't offend anyone there if it ever gets robbed.

Interesting map. It looks like west of the cascades on the West Coast including California and east of the Appalachians on the east coast you find the leftists. And between there you find a mixture but more conservatives.

I seriously doubt that a misunderstanding occurred, when the information was given verbally to two officers on scene, and then again in a follow up phone call.

Not too smart a move on the part of the restaurant owner. He better hope he doesn't have a robbery, etc.. Response time could be delayed by the location being removed from GPS in police cars. :biggrinjester:

Who would want to cater to customers who don't like the police? Not the kind I want to sit down to dinner with.

I hope that the good citizens of that area, make sure to take their business elsewhere. Maybe a few weeks of no sales (or only sales to the criminal element) will give the owner a new respect for LEOs. :tiphat:

Why is that? I have more than enough trouble speaking my native tongue. Is it really so implausible to think that maybe the guy thought the words he was using meant something different than what you or I would think they mean?

Yes, it's implausible as there was more than one conversation confirming that the restaurant folks did'nt want LE business.

There was no misunderstanding until the public backlash was felt by the restaurant folks and boom - ah, sorry LE we no speaka da Ingish, pwease, you comaa back, prease...

:iagree:

I assume the owner has been in business for more than a few weeks, and I think he should be able to communicate well enough to distinguish between "please come back" and "our other customers don't like you being here." I think Abraham nailed it, the retraction only occurred after it was posted on social media, and the backlash started.
