Internet Censorship

#1

Post by LSUTiger »

It seems like more and more Pro 2A youtubers are getting targeted for censorship.

The youtube alternative is https://www.full30.com/

Reid Henrichs of Valor Ridge
Please share this folks. Today I just learned that my Youtube channel has been suspended. You all have watched my channel for a year and a half. In barely over a year, we have nearly reached 70,000 subscribers (massive growth) because of pro-American content as well as history, gun training, and current issues. Apparently all it takes to suspend a channel is any viewer to flag a video and report it to youtube/google, which is largely automated. It appears that gun channels are being targeted by idiotic liberals bent on silencing the content. Other gun channels such as Hickok 45 (it doesn't get milder than him) have also been suspended or terminated without cause last year and this year. I have appealed this, as no community violations have ever taken place in any of my videos. This is why I joined Full30, as we all knew this day would come eventually. Censorship is the mark of the statist.

It's no different than posting 30.06 and 30.07 signs. Websites are privately owned and pick and choose whomever they want to let on their sites.
Just like Charles can ban cussing, swearing or anything he doesn't like or feels is inappropriate. IMHO Just wait until the government takes over control of the internet. A vote for Hillary will start that in motion.

thanks. if just a small group of libtards can cause a channel to get banned then that means youtube will be increasingly populated with bland content that offends no one. boring. time to move on.

And just like the 06/07 signs and property rights we can choose to go elsewhere. Thankfully there is an elsewhere to go to, for now.

You know, I didn't want to say it, but since you brought it up...

I'm sure the antis have multiple channels from which to spread their lies. How many votes from those of us who find their content offensive would it take to get them shut down?

Offending such as us will continue not to be a problem. But views to the right of Pol Pot will be banned.

I didn't know who Johnny Cash was until I discovered Youtube. That's where I discovered him. If you know somewhere else I can get Johnny Cash videos and music, let me know. Thanks.

I don't really think that a handful of evil people abusing the reporting system for youtube is a reason to swear off using it. I have checked out a number of alternatives, and none of them are great. However, I do think that we should try to do something about it. Email youtube. Express your displeasure with the way they have handled this. Let them know that it's not right for channels to be suspended through a fully automated system. Don't just complain about it; do something about it. Maybe it will help; maybe it won't. You won't find out if you don't try. That said, I will be going to full30.com when I specifically want to watch gun videos from now on. That site is pretty cool. If I have time, I'll try to find the address for complaints to youtube and maybe draft a general letter on the subject.

Google is most definitely NOT your friend.

They take EVERYTHING they learn about you and sell it. :mad5

According to leaker snowden, google and most large american corporations are involved in project "Prism" where they already record everything you do online. They're saving it for one day (in the near future) when their A.I. quantum computer can supposedly predict everything that you're going to do in the future using psychological statistical analysis. marketers such as google can tailor their marketing to be irresistible to you using targeted subliminal messages based on this statistical analysis. They also plan on using this A.I. kinda like "precrime" (the movie) and arresting people on "suspicions" only, no due process (see the patriot act, you only have to be "suspected" not convicted to be arrested and land in jail).

Orwell's 1984 is here....

No, Google is NOT your friend. Startpage is in the Netherlands and is more likely to protect your privacy. However, it is not as good as Google. I like using Google's "boolean" search function. It can find some really amazingly hard to find stuff. Startpage doesn't have a "boolean" search. Ugh....

Duck duck go is ok. I have nothing against them, but they are based in the USA so they might be enrolled in PRISM now. I don't know. Snowden's leak is several years old so even though duck duck go wasn't part of PRISM, they might be now, but startpage is less likely to be part of prism because they're not in the usa but in the netherlands.

Use protonmail for swiss encrypted emails (free). I have nobody to use it with.

Use signal app for encrypted texts and phone calls. I don't use it though, because I have nobody to use it with because my family and friends don't care about privacy.

Use Tor to protect your online privacy. I don't use it, though, because it is too s-l-o-w. It slows internet use down to dialup speeds.

Your biggest hurdle with privacy will be your own friends and family because 98% of people are sheeple and the sheeple doesn't care about constitutional rights like privacy, right to bear arms, etc. As long as the sheeple can eat food, drive a fancy car, and watch TV, they're good. Ugh.
