House Plans Vote on Guns Next Week

#1

Post by parabelum »

Did not see this posted yet.

"The House will vote on a counterterrorism package that will include a provision to prevent suspected terrorists from buying guns, Speaker Paul D. Ryan told Republicans on a conference call Thursday, according to a source on the call."

"Ryan told his colleagues that they are getting recommendations from the sergeant-at-arms and the parliamentarians, and that House Republicans will take any actions they deem necessary, according to the source on the call."

I would hope that the NRA version would be used, and, I would like to see mendatory drug testing for all political operatives to include prescription opioids, as well as ousting of Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell and of course impeachment of AG Lynch, BO, Kerry, Jeh Johnson, and of course slammer time for criminal Clinton running for POTUS.

This should come only after the censure votes for each and every representative who decided to be a thug on the house floor. And then include a rider for National reciprocity.

You can't use the word "thug". It's a code word/racial dog whistle used to impugn gentle giants and people that could be the President's son....Shame on you. :rules:

I'm very ashamed for having used "that" word before "rlol"

I guess we'll soon have more evidence of which elected "representatives" are willing to openly break their oath of office. Upholding the Constitution means upholding Due Process, which is a foundational element of our legal system. We'll truly be a nation under rule of man if a bill subverting due process gets enacted into law, as seems to be the desire of those braying about "No Fly, No Buy."

You beat me to it. I'd like to know what is in this and where it's going to be hung off of. Which of the five failed bills (two of which were republican bills!) do we get to watch them try and shove through... again?

Thanks for pointing that out. I'll start using "gangsta" instead. They should like that term more.
