I post this link while thinking of the poor souls in Orlando.
I do not agree with their life style but they are US citizens and they have rights just like any of us. I am mad.

Islam is not a religion of peace, if you study its origins, it is not peaceful. Some of its followers may be peaceful, but the Koran does not specify a peaceable religion.

Just Islam. Still is just Islam.
One must use the correct definition of the subject in order to correctly identify it.
If you do not properly define something then you cannot properly deal with.

Radical Islam = Islam practiced by the book (Koran)
Moderate Islam ( or anything less than the above)= Islam practiced by Muslims that do not completely follow the book (Koran).

So a Radical Muslim ( one who practices Islam, see notes above), has the authority to do whatever is needed to advance the Islamic cause (create a worldwide caliphate). They are justified to be your friend one day in order crush an enemy and then justified to turn on their friends in order to continue to advance their cause. The end justifies the means according to Islam ( again, see note above).

I don't mean to be kurt by referring to "see note above" just reiterating my point.

So, until the western world properly defines the problem and deals with it, things like Orlando and worse will continue to occur.
In the meantime many of our leaders are doing the equivalent of nothing except they are trying to take away our last line of defense, the right to defend ourselves and our families.

In my original post Jefferson understood the problem and dealt with it. The author of the article explained Jefferson's actions but the author did in my opinion incorrectly use the term Radical Islam. It should have been just Islam.

This is not my humble opinion, this is my very strong opinion. There are plenty of books available that you can study on your own to make your own opinion. If you study the history of Islam, I think you will arrive at the same conclusion.
