Status Changed Today!

Post by rjderry »

Application completed and all documents filed on April 18th. I checked this morning and my status has changed (options available)...very excited to receive my plastic.
Now, having said that, what percentage of LTC holders actually carry. I'm not sure I will, but it's nice to know I can.

I haven't missed a day carrying since I got my license. That's why I got it.

I suspect as you get more comfortable, you'll probably carry more than you expected. It was uncomfortable to have the gun on me at first, now it's uncomfortable if I don't have it.

Congrats on the status change though :clapping:

Congratulations on the status change rjderry! :thumbs2: And welcome to the forum! Glad to have you with us. :tiphat:

I think you'll find that most, if not all, forum members carry on a daily basis. I know I do. In fact I feel VERY uneasy when I'm not able to carry.

My status changed this morning also. I was all in on April 7th. Pretty quick turnaround in my opinion. I am active duty military, and the application cost me $0 total. Could this have anything to do with the turnaround? Or did I just get lucky with the surge of new employees being hired? Either way, happy to soon be able to carry. :txflag:

:headscratch If you're not going to carry, I don't really see a point in having your LTC. You'll have to get used to a different "feel" to your belt, but within a couple of weeks you'll feel like something is missing when you don't have it on. I hope I never need mine, but.......
Do what you say you're gonna do.

I work at a place that is 30.06 so I have to disarm when I get to work, but as soon as I get off I rearm myself. I have carried everyday since getting my license, and though it's a little bothersome the thought of leaving my carry at home hasn't even cross my mind

I too work for a company that recently posted both 30.06 & 30.07 signs on all entrance doors. Therefore, I feel your pain. Although I have not yet received my LTC, I carry at home and in my vehicles; however, I am ready to carry full time - except at work.
