I like the idea of sending her everybodies unused gun locks, then when she has more than she can store, and can't give them away, maybe just maybe she'll MYOB

When I lived in Commiecornia on several occasions the gun vendor refused to either sell me a gun or hand it over after the waiting period because the gun lock they're required to sell me (and I have to pay for) was out of stock. In most cases the law doesn't mandate free locks....this isn't birth control or heroin needles...it requires thr gun purchaser to to buy one. While some gun retailers delayed gun purchases by not having locks in stock most smaller gun shops used the law to generate extra revenue by only stocking premium gun locks in the $50 range.

I don't live in Commiefornia anymore but I still have a bunch of gun locks....in their original packaging, never opened. Nobody has ever been hurt by any of my guns and nobody who shouldn't be able to get to them has ever gotten to them so I guess forcing me to buy gun locks really does make the world a safter place.
Don't let the wonder of seeing a pig fly be overshadowed by the inevitable disappointment over the brevity of its flight.

I know right? I gave one to my niece i have trouble opening, she can work it.
I'd hate to have to call my little niece to come to my house to unlock my gun if a home invader visited.

I was taught in the Military that Training, especially realistic Training, saves lives. So, I could get behind that mantra, that Everytown for Gun Safety provides free ammunition to save lives...
Unless we keep the barbarian virtues, gaining the civilized ones will be of little avail. Oversentimentality, oversoftness, washiness, and mushiness are the great dangers of this age and of this people." Teddy Roosevelt"

A locked gun will cause more deaths from not being to have it ready if the need arises , i for one throw every gun lock i get in the trash i have no need for them . I have a safe and also have ones out that i can get to in just a second !

I agree, it is added to the cost of the gun, but the point being, you can provide anything you want, free child safety seats are available for those who can't afford them, but how many kids are still killed from not being in them? Giving something to someone will not guarantee it's use, and I don't think tax payers should foot the bill.
There it is, all of it!
