Re: DOJ Replaces 'Criminal' With 'Justice-Involved Individual'
Hmmm... Volumes of laws and regulations to make criminals of anyone -- even upstanding citizens... Wanton destruction of critical thinking ability and social mores... Runaway welfare / "entitlement" state and the dependency/addiction it produces... A Democratic presidential nominee race where the candidates are clearly trying to out-socialist each other... A Republican presidential nominee race won by an establishment Democrat supporting television personality... As Dorothy said, "Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore." It is indeed time for all good men to come to the aid of their country -- and society. These commie ba...... uh, traitors, are doing their level best to destroy, not just the nation, but the very fabric of society.

I was an IRS collection involved individual at one time.
What a load of crud this group is full of. Or should I say "high intensity aroma proliferation managers" they are.

I uploaded some music to my iPad the other day and George Carlin was among some of the albums.koine2002 wrote:I guess this euphemism isn't anything really new. I found this report by the National Institute of Corrections using the term. I remember George Carlin, while I won't link to it due to profanity, did a rant on euphemisms, and how they really just create more harm. I posted a sanitized transcript of a portion of it here.

So is it saying something that all EMPLOYEES of the Justice Department must therefore be "Justice-Involved Individuals"?

Liberal in the classic sense, what I'd refer to as Libertarian now a days.WildBill wrote:I uploaded some music to my iPad the other day and George Carlin was among some of the albums.koine2002 wrote:I guess this euphemism isn't anything really new. You can change the name but you can't change the negative connotation when someone is bad.
First they said criminal was arrested.
That became suspect was arrested.
Then they came up with person of interest was arrested.
Now it will be justice involved individual was arrested.
Soon that will be a bad name as well, bad is bad regardless of what you call it.
