I didn't realize that Georgia had a lot of transplanted Californian's but it seems like there is at least one.
I am a proud parent ready to take advantage of Georgia’s acclaimed Move On When Ready program, but I, like many other parents, am suffering serious misgivings about doing so when I realize my high school child will be around students who may be carrying guns on campus.
I hate to tell this guy, put his precious little teenager is around people carrying guns every time the kid steps outside his front door. Even worse, he is around people trying to give / sell him all manner of harmful things. Maybe he should move to a truly gun free place where his kid can be safe. Brussels comes to mind...

The article is obviously trash, but the comment section is actually encouraging for once. Filled with relatively well written rebuttals. I was thinking of commenting there, but it doesn't seem to be necessary.
I prefer dangerous freedom to safety in chains.

Let's go Brandon.

She is not alone. It appears that the publication has other contributors with a similar opinion. It seems to be based on the same 'blood in the streets" excuses that have been used for a very long time.

Of particular note is oft used "emotionally charged" environment argument of which that medical community is so fond. I would love to see mechanics behind the poll that produced 78% of its participants opposing campus carry.

It is amazing at how little folks like that know about what is going on around them or think those things through.

One of those parents that are fine with their kid being around gang members and other hardened criminals ILLEGALLY carrying guns, but not around a law-abiding citizen LEGALLY carrying a gun. A great example of why this nation is so messed up right now. :banghead: :mad5
